PEET Scholars Welcomed at Function

This year’s Aruhiko | Power Engineering Excellent Trust Scholarship winners were welcomed during our annual PEET Scholars Welcome event earlier this month.
Dr Nikki Newham (Chair of PEET) welcomed this year’s scholars alongside Dr Hamish Avery (Director of the EPECentre). Scholars were given the opportunity to meet each other and mingle with the PEET board representatives and EPECentre staff during the event. This year 23 Scholars were awarded Aruhiko – PEET Scholarships. Meet our 2022 Scholars here
Students range from first year through to fourth year Engineering. This scholarship supports and promotes study in the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) programmes and who demonstrate commitment to, or interest in, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and electric power engineering, indicating potential to contribute to the electric power engineering industry in Aotearoa New Zealand.
