Ngā Karahipi Uru Rākau Scholarships 2021

The Ngā Karahipi Uru Rākau – Forestry Scholarships will be open from June to the 15th August.
Eight scholarships are offered for the 2021 academic year for qualifying Māori and/or female students enrolling in the Bachelor of Forestry Science or Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Forest Engineering at the University of Canterbury.
Successful winners will get:
· $8,000 a year for 4 years (the length of the degree) to help with tuition fees and living costs, and
· a paid internship with Te Uru Rākau (Forestry New Zealand) or another forestry employer.
