The WIDE Trust Undergraduate Scholarship

The School of Forestry is pleased to announce five undergraduate scholarships offered by the Wood Industry Development and Education Trust Ltd (WIDE Trust).
This scholarship was established in 2018 by the Wood Industry Development and Education (WIDE) Trust to support university-level study in Forestry Science and Forest Engineering. The WIDE Trust is a charitable trust that supports New Zealand citizens undertaking career-related studies in the wood and forest industry sectors and entities involved in the research, development and advancement of forestry and wood science.
The scholarship is valued at $10,000 with five awards available for full-time students commencing the 1st Year Bachelor of Forestry Science or full-time students commencing the 1st Professional Year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Forest Engineering. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or Permanent Residents.
Scholarship regulations and the application form can be requested from the School of Forestry. The closing date for applications is 9 November 2019.
