Ngā Karahipi Uru Rākau Scholarships 2020

The Ngā Karahipi Uru Rākau – Forestry Scholarships will be open from June to the 15th August.

Six scholarships are offered for the 2020 academic year for qualifying Māori and female students enrolling in the Bachelor of Forestry Science or Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Forest Engineering at the University of Canterbury.

Successful winners will get:

·      $8,000 a year for 4 years (the length of the degree) to help with tuition fees and living costs, and

·      a paid internship with Te Uru Rākau (Forestry New Zealand) or another forestry employer.
