Abstract
Millimetre-wave channel models are essential for evaluating 5G radio systems. A better understanding of the channel will allow us to design enhanced systems with advanced beamforming capabilities to improve data rates, coverage and reduce interference between users. Spatially consistent models are designed to account for mobile user and multi-user scenarios, a key requirement of 5G radio systems. Using data acquired from channel measurements, these models are analysed and evaluated based on real world channel behaviour.
