Abstract
A second space race is underway, with private companies rather than nations vying to develop commercially viable orbital launch vehicles. The new generation of companies must meet increasing expectations from customers for a streamlined mission design process and increasingly accurate results. New methods and approaches are needed across the industry to meet these requirements and maximise performance of the vehicle.
This research expands upon the existing guidance, navigation, and control capability of the UC Rocketry group as well as the Rocket Lab team by developing real time guidance techniques suitable for use on an orbital launch vehicle.
