Abstract
How can we conduct high voltage testing in difficult locations? How can we apply 47000V test voltages to some of the largest equipment in Australasia and how can we do any of that from a limited local supply?
This presentation covers testing work undertaken on a 23kV, 660MW generator in Australia. It covers the specialty research equipment used to complete the test, and describes the tests conducted on site.
