Research Title: Optimal Deployment of Charging Infrastructures for Urban Networks
Cong Tran obtained his graduate studies in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University. He is currently a PhD student in Transportation Engineering at the University of Canterbury. Cong earns the UC Doctoral Scholarship that supports him to pursue his research journey in New Zealand with the topic: Optimal Deployment of Charging Infrastructures for Urban Networks for Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the urban transportation network. He is particularly interested in interdisciplinary research toward sustainable development, including urban transportation systems, network optimization and green city logistics.
