Blues Awards for Natural Resources Engineering student

Alyce Lysaght a final year student minoring in Water and Environmental Engineering Systems has taken out the UCSA Blues Award - Waewae Kai Pakiaka: Outstanding contribution to the Māori Community.

Alyce has been an active advocate for Māori in Engineering, producing her pod-cast series, being the Engineering Representative for Te Akatoki and being on the Infrastructure Commission Te Ao Māori  testing panel as well as being a Māori mentor for EngMe students over the last couple of years.  Her award recognises this community engagement and we are super proud of this incredible young woman.
