Liaison provides a link between the University and intending first-time students.
We're often the first contact for students considering starting their first degree at UC, and we aim to help you make an informed decision about your study options.

We can provide prospective students with information about the university system in general and the courses, qualifications, support and facilities at the University of Canterbury.
Liaison staff visit schools, work with teachers and senior school students and attend careers expos and events around the country. We also host events on campus so you can find out what being a student at UC is all about.
We can assist you with first-year course planning, information and queries about university study. Current, advancing and transferring, and postgraduate students should contact the Student Advisors within the Colleges for course planning and advice.
We can also assist you with enrolment questions, subject and degree information, university entry regulations, Campus Tours, Māori and Pacific information and scholarships and can help you plan your degree.
We have offices in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington.
