This course develops sophisticated choral singing skills, good rehearsal techniques and discipline, and diction in English and other languages. Public performances are a part of this course.
The aim of the course is to equip you with the skills required of choral singers through a range of repertoire. There will be weekly rehearsals, and performances scheduled throughout the year.
Students who pass this course will be able to:* sing a vocal line accompanied;* pronounce simple texts correctly;* sight sing basic music with an accompaniment;* attend rehearsals regularly and punctually;* show commitment and team work throughout the year;* focus during rehearsals by marking scores.
Entry by audition, approval of the Head of School.

While this summary won't be assessed, its content will be used to award a grade for these aspects in conjunction with the lecturer's assessment.
