Description

Fundamental relationships between structure, processing, physical properties and performance for metallic, ceramic, polymeric and composite materials.

This introductory course is designed for mechanical engineering students. The fundamental relationships between structure, processing and physical properties will be examined for metallic, ceramic, polymeric, and composite materials.

Lab Worksheets 32% 32% total for 4 lab assignments due noon Friday one week after data posted (details in LEARN)
Weekly online homework 10% 10% total for weekly homework assignments due Mondays 6pm
Final Exam 38%
