Description

A supervised practicum in the area of Learning and Behaviour.

Learning Outcomes

Students who  complete this paper successfully should be able to:

1. Demonstrate competence, confidence, and cultural awareness in preparing for a practicum including developing and researching resources to assist with the practicum in the area of Learning and Behaviour;
2. Demonstrate competence, confidence, and cultural awareness in completing a supervised field practicum in the area of Learning and Behaviour;
3. Demonstrate professional skills relating to working in the area of Learning and Behaviour by linking practice to theory and research;
4. Demonstrate an understanding of cultural concepts and practices as they apply to the Learning and Behaviour area.

This programme uses Moodle as the online learning environment.

Please note that this learning environment is not hosted via the websites of either
University (Stream at MU or Learn at UC) but is an independent website designed
specifically for this programme and hosted by a 3rd party provider contracted by the
Universities.

Students should submit assignments as outlined in the individual paper guidelines. Mostly, this will be able to be completed online. However in some circumstances paper copies may be required and submitted.

It is the responsibility of the students to check their Internet access and ability to submit their work via the online system.  Any technical difficulties should be notified well in advance of the due date so that assistance can be provided or alternative arrangements can be negotiated. (Students who have unreliable internet access are advised to attend to this early in the course to prevent last minute pressures.)
