This course introduces students to philosophical, moral and ethical foundations of sport. It examines a range of philosophical views of sport and considers its powerful influence on the attitudes and values of the individual and contemporary society. Sporting scenarios are examined and ethical decision making applied to critique the role, functions, meaning, and moral bases of sport.
