This course covers key concepts, principles and frameworks related to digital business strategy and implementation including business models, digital innovation and technology platforms needed to support these systems. This course explores ethical, legal, and societal issues relating to internet technology use by organisations. Student engagement is a major part of the delivery. Engaged Learning is defined as interactive, high impact, application-based problem solving in which students proactively drive their learning, facilitated by faculty. It includes any/all of the following:• Case exercises & discussions• Simulation & role playing• Group project• Research & analysis
Demonstrate an understanding of the unique features of digital business technologies and their business significanceDemonstrate an understanding of issues relating to the selection of the digital business models for an organisationDemonstrate knowledge of the role of digital business technologies in B2C, B2B, social and mobile domains. Identify and evaluate key issues related to implementation and infrastructure issues Identify and evaluate key usability and human computer interaction principles to digital business designIdentify and evaluate key security threats in digital business environments.Demonstrate an understanding of ethical, social and legal issues raised by digital business implementations
