Description

The course will give participants an overview of selected areas of contract, business and employment law as well as taxation relevant to the business environment.

Learning Outcomes

The objectives of the course are to provide participants with a knowledge of the content, and practical application, of aspects of:

New Zealand legal system
Contract law and special types of contract
Business Structures
Employment law

Assessment

Project 1: individual legal opinion (70%)

Project 2: individual case project (30%)

All projects are to be handed in to the MBA Administrator, or to the dropboxes on Rehua level 6 or 7.
