Description

Law of the Sea

This is a research course involving the writing of 2 x 10,000 word papers in the field of Law of the Sea under the supervision of a suitably qualified law school academic or team of supervisors.

The course will allow advanced examination of topics in the general field of Law of the Sea through two independent research projects.  Staff contact will be through small group and individual supervision sessions.

Learning Outcomes

The objectives of the course are:

-  To develop an advanced level of knowledge in the field of Law of the Sea.
-  To develop advanced levels of research and writing skills.
-  To develop independent study skills.

Prerequisites

Subject to approval of the Head of Department.
