Using problem and case-based situations to illustrate the analysis of various topics in corporate finance.
This course is designed to develop your facility with the tools of financial analysis and the skills for making sound financial decisions. This course is based on case analysis and is intended to increase your understanding of finance principles studied in FINC 201, 202 and 203. For the most part, cases are based on actual situations financial managers have faced. Your task is to analyse the situation and recommend a value-creating course of action. Assigned work consists of both group and individual work and will include problem solving, written and oral communication skills. This will prepare you to be a financial manager or provide financial advisory services.
