Description

Film 3

FILM311 is a year long course with specific emphasis on the development of practice based research within the studio context, and will afford the student the opportunity to develop a large-scale body of studio work. In the first semester, students will be assigned the broad framework for a project and a set of loosely prescribed outcomes in which to define a course an individual study. In the second semester, students will negotiate a wholly individual course of study with their studio lecturer in the form of a Directed Research Proposal (DRP.)

3. Know how to frame, propose, manage and develop a medium-scale practice-based research project;
4. Know how to research, frame and articulate a considered critical context in relation to ones developing practice and/or specific projects;
