Notes

A basic workshop (ENEL199) course must be completed by all EEE and CE students before enrolment in the 2nd Professional year.

Students can be given an exemption from the workshop course if they have the appropriate skills or training. Approval for the exemption must be obtained from Jac Woudberg before 2nd March 2018 to get a full tuition refund.

The basic workshop course is run by Riccarton High School on Curletts Road in the Technology Block. Some courses will be run on weekends because there is little overlap of High school and University holidays. Some courses will be held in February before the start of the academic year.  All courses start promptly at 9am.

Wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

If you do not attend the course you booked in to, you will have to pay again to attend another course. Consideration will be given to exceptional circumstances.
