Notes

An electrical workshop (ENEL198) course must be completed by all EEE, CE and Mechatronics students before enrolment in the 2nd Professional year.

Students can be given an exemption from the workshop course if they have the appropriate skills or training. Approval for the exemption must be obtained from Jac Woudberg before 2nd March 2018 to get a full tuition refund.

The electrical workshop is run by the Department in the Electronics Laboratory, Room 210 ECE Wing. Course instructors insist that the courses start on time at 9am and therefore will refuse entry to any student arriving late.

Wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

If you do not attend the course you booked in to, you will have to pay again to attend another course. Consideration will be given to exceptional circumstances.
