A supervised practicum in the area of Early Intervention.

Learning Outcomes

Students who successfully complete this paper should be able to:

1. Demonstrate competence, confidence and cultural awareness in preparing for a practicum including developing and evaluating evidence-based practices in the area of Early intervention;
2. Demonstrate competence, confidence and cultural awareness in completing a supervised field practicum in the area of Early intervention;
3. Demonstrate professional skills relating to working in the area of Early Intervention by linking practice to theory and research;
4. Demonstrate an understanding of cultural concepts and practices as they apply to the Early Intervention area.
