Through the use of technologies such as wearable displays, a person's perception of the real world can be enhanced to create an experience known as Augmented Reality (AR), or even be completely replaced with a computer generated Virtual Reality (VR). These computer mediated realities together are known as Mixed Reality.
This course explores cutting edge technologies for AR and VR experiences and applications, including presenting and interacting with large complex datasets. In order to analyse and process the ever-increasing amount and complexity of digital data, such new methods are required to visualise, analyse and interact with this information.
