Whanau tangata: Possibilities, Opportunities and Tension

Description

This course explores complex notions of whanaungatanaga, whanau and community. Students will actively engage with whanau/community in order to discover implications for education, teaching and self as an emerging teacher. Through the course, students will critique teachers’ professional responsibilities and commitment to whanau community.
