Description

This course examines the ways frameworks for inquiry can be used to identify and resolve practice challenges and dilemmas in relation to possible causes, teacher decision-making and practice responses. Pre-service teachers will analyse how the Code of Professional Responsibility and the Standards for the Profession of Teaching guide the ethical behaviour and high quality practices expected of the teaching professional. They will develop strategies for noticing, understanding and responding to learners with diverse and additional learning needs, within an inclusive learning-focused culture. This course will complement learning in other courses in the Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary).
