Sport Marketing Challenge

Sport Marketing Challenge

Come up with an exciting marketing strategy to re-engage with sport in a Covid-19 environment!

The Sport Marketing Challenge is an in-person competition for all UC students, working together in teams, to find innovative ways to solve marketing challenges faced by the Sports sector.

Over 2 days - Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May 2022 - you will have the chance to make an impact on a real Canterbury challenge!

You do not need an idea in advance - you will be introduced to the Challenge question on the day of the launch (Tuesday 10 May - online) and start ‘ideation’ with your team. During the Challenge, you will receive mentoring and input from industry experts to help your team develop your idea. On the final day of the ‘Sport Marketing Challenge’, your team will pitch your concept to a panel of judges. The top ideas will get a share of the $500 cash prize pool as well as great in-kind prizes from the Crusaders!.

The Challenge is the perfect opportunity to meet some new people, hone your skills, build your CV, experience new ways of working and have a real impact!
