Learn something new
UC Centre for Entrepreneurship (UCE) provides students and staff with opportunities to satisfy their curiosity, dip their toes into innovation, and get a glimpse into the business world.
UCE offers a range of activities to students from all degrees to feed their curiosity. Students can come along to a workshop, hear from a speaker, check out the all new Makerspace or join a club.
Throughout the year UCE hosts a range of workshops and speaker sessions where students can interact with and meet UC staff, industry experts, and experienced entrepreneurs and innovators. It is an opportunity to get a foot in the door in the startup community. View previous speaker sessions here.
UCE hosts it’s very own Makerspace - a space for all creative UC students interested in active making, design and prototyping. The space hosts a wide range of equipment from low tech design thinking kits, to high tech equipment.
Joining a club is a great way to meet new like-minded people. Under the UCE umbrella, we support a number of student entrepreneurship and innovation clubs such as Women in Business, Entré, 180 Degrees Consulting, Global China Connection and the Latin America New Zealand Society.
