WHU Doing Business in Europe, Germany
Learn about the international business world in Europe through this two-week programme taught entirely in English comprising interactive live classes and breakout discussions, with a schedule designed for students in Australia and New Zealand.
Past experiences
Focus: Asian Insights
Dates: 28 June – 23 July 2021 (4 weeks)
Courses: you will choose one course from the SMU Online Summer programme. The programme is taught in English and classes are interactive and run synchronously. See details of courses and assessments in course outlines (under “courses”).
Entry requirement: Completion of 1 year of study towards your BCom at UC (normally at least a B average GPA is required).
UC credit: You will receive 15 points of unspecified 200-level Commerce credit for successfully passing any one of the SMU Online Global Summer courses.
Fees: Standard UC tuition fee for a 15-point Commerce course, SMU’s Application fee (UC Business will reimburse NZ$200 towards this cost upon successful completion of the course.)
Dates: 25 May to 16 July 2021 (you will study for only two weeks during this period with flexible dates and module selection).
Courses (modules): The programme is fully modular and very flexible: each module lasts for 1 week. You will choose two online modules from the available options and may select modules in any weeks that fit your schedule and interests. See information about the programme including the schedule, courses and assessments in Audencia’s brochure and course catalogue. Each module comprises 24 teaching hours. The programme is taught in English.
Entry requirements: Completion of 2 years of study towards your BCom at UC (with at least a B- average).
UC credit: You will receive 15 points unspecified 200-level Commerce credit for successfully passing any two Audencia modules of the Summer programme.
Fees: Standard UC tuition fee for a 15-point Commerce course and Audencia’s administration fee
Internationalization Strategy and Data Science
Dates:
- Kick-off: between July 5 (exact date will be announced later)
- Course dates: (Intensive Weeks): 5 July – 16 July 2021
Note: There will be group work and assignments to be completed before and after the two intensive weeks. Instructions for the pre-course work will be available at least 4 weeks before the Kick-off or Intensive Weeks commence and students will have at least one month to hand in assignments or complete the readings before the first day of the Intensive Weeks. All work is scheduled to be completed before the end of July.
Courses: Workshop-style course taught in English by WU lecturers and international guest lecturers. Classes will be run as synchronous (live and interactive) and asynchronous sessions. Students can expect synchronous sessions within the Intensive Weeks.
UC credit: 15 points unspecified 200-level Commerce credit for successfully passing the WU Vienna’s Internationalisation Strategy and Data Science course.
Entry requirements: Completion of your BCom with a relevant background at UC (normally at least a B average is required).
Fee: Standard UC tuition fee for a 15-point Commerce course and WU Vienna’s programme fee of €150 (UC Business will reimburse NZ$200 towards this cost for up to two students upon successful completion of the course.).
