Past experiences
The oldest private university in Korea, Yonsei University was first established in 1885 and the vision of the university is to educate leaders who will contribute to humanity in the spirit of “truth and freedom”.
From 2019-2020, Yonsei University offers a 5-week winter program at our Sinchon campus for international students who would like to enjoy the winter in Seoul. Winter Abroad at Yonsei is composed of two separate sessions: Session 1 is a 3-week program focusing on academic achievement with various courses and Session 2 is a 2-week program with an intensive Korean language course along with distinguished cultural and historical lectures related to Korean society.
On the weekend, participants can enjoy special Korean winter activities. Yonsei University provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your scholarship, interact with eminent professors and enjoy the companionship of participants from all over the world.

National Taiwan University currently offers two winter programmes; "Chinese Language and Culture" and "Research and Culture." These programs run for 4 weeks and are an excellent opportunity to learn about Taiwanese culture, and make friends from around the world, all while studying at a top university!
UC students will be offered a discounted fee for the program as NTU is one of our partner institutions.

The Global Opportunities (GO) programs at Universidad de Los Andes in Chile offer students the chance to meet international peers in an academic environment. There are 3 programmes to choose from; GO Chile & APEC, GO Spanish and GO Chilean Culture. The programs are intensive and real life-changing experiences, where international students have the opportunity to study with Chilean peers, learn from faculty, improve their Spanish and discover Chile!

Digital Business Master Class (47E00100) is an interactive and fast-paced graduate-level course focusing on digital technologies as tools for building businesses. You will learn how companies transform their processes and systems by implementing digital technologies.
Concepts covered include platforms and ecosystems, business design thinking, data-driven marketing, strategic management of technological innovation, data-intensive business and AI ethics. You will work on company projects in international and multidisciplinary teams, in collaboration with partner companies. In addition to intensive lecture weeks, the course includes independent pre- and post-work periods.
Dates: 6 -17 March 2023
Points: 15 points (note: requires you to submit a 3-point assignment at UC on top of the Aalto assessments to lift the credit from 12 to 15.) Restricted against MBAM601 - Digital Transformation.
Cost:
- Standard UC MBA tuition fee for a 15-point MBA course ($3,169)
- €250 Aalto programme fee
- €320 - €410 for single-occupancy housing for two weeks, and additional costs for meals, transport to/from/within the destination, and travel expenses. (Note: the tuition fee of €1600 is waived due to our exchange agreement)

Founded in 1974, Paris School of Business (PSB) is a state-recognized European elite management school that combines academic excellence, international awareness, and professional experiences. A member of the Conference of Grande Écoles, EFMD and AACSB accredited, PSB is running two summer programmes that are open to UC students.
Option 1: Doing Business and Entrepreneurship in Europe
In addition to following hands on academic lectures at PSB Paris School of Business, students enrolled within this programme have the opportunity to visit start-up incubators, attend entrepreneur meet-ups and/or participate in a business challenge with the aim to understand the world of business and entrepreneurship in Europe.
Option 2: Luxury Brand Management
In addition to providing a focused and vocationally oriented education, this programme is enriched by company & concept store visits within the luxury industry to allow students to meet professionals and understand the world of Luxury Brand Management through experiential learning. Extracurricular activities to fully discover and live the magic of Paris are also planned during the short programme.

The WHU MBA European Summer Programme comprises a two-week course on ‘The Changing Environment for International Business in Europe’ on the attractive campus in Vallendar, located just outside of Koblenz in the valley of the Rhine River.
The programme is designed for MBA students of WHU's partner schools in their second year who are interested in International Business, Finance, and Corporate Strategy. The programme offers a targeted and compact insight into international business in Europe as an alternative to an exchange semester. It offers a well-balanced combination of lectures, group work, company visits, and cultural experiences.
Dates: 9 - 23 May 2023 (session one); 14 -26 May 2023 (session two)
Points: 10 points. This course can be used as the MBA 10-point elective
Cost:
- Standard UC MBA tuition fee for a 10-point MBA course ($2,104.00)
- €489 WHU base fee (covers course materials; group transfer service to/from the airport; welcome reception and farewell dinner; lunches; company visits and social excursions; local bus ticket; 24-hour gym access; on-campus wi-fi and library Access)
- €350 - €425 for single-occupancy housing for two weeks and the cost of flights. (Note: the tuition fee of €3,455 is waived due to our exchange agreement.)

Build your international management and business expertise with a European focus by spending two-weeks at Audencia Business School in Nantes, France. You will enjoy a combination of coursework, weekly company visits, group projects and exciting extracurricular activities.

- Credit: 15 points of unspecified 200-level Commerce credit if you successfully complete any two of the following courses:
- Psychology of Money & Consumer Behavior
- Cross-cultural Management & Human Development
- European Politics & Business: Study Trip to Brussels, Belgium
- Eligibility: 180 points completed towards the BCom at UC (with at least a B- GPA) of which at least 60 points must be at 200-level. Your application may be conditionally approved if you will meet the points eligibility requirement at the end of 2022 S2, subject to passing all of your 2022 S2 courses and maintaining a B- GPA
- Cost: Standard UC tuition fee for a 15-point undergraduate Business course plus €100 Audencia administrative fee (and travel, accommodation, and living costs)
- Financial support: $1,500 scholarships available to subsidise the cost of travel (limited number available, conditions apply)

UC Business School Global Experience Award
UC Business School offers Global Experience Award to support the participation of UC Business School students in learning abroad experiences, by assisting with the costs associated with these. These awards are applied with eligibility assessed as part of the application process for eligible programmes. There is no need to submit a separate application.
