What if you could travel and study at the same time?

The Thailand internship programme is a unique course providing a learning experience that cannot be found in a typical lecture theatre. The six-week internship programme runs in NZ summer from January to February, organised in collaboration with Thailand’s top ranked institution - Mahidol University. You will experience living and working in an exotic and challenging environment, make new friends from both Thailand and UC while exploring the city of Bangkok and provinces across Thailand, build valuable skills, and add a point of difference to your CV.

As part of the Thailand internship programme students enrol in PACE295. Upon successfully completing the course requirements they will earn 15 points towards their degree.

Assessment

The Thailand internship programme has three main pieces of assessment:

  • Internship (20%)
  • Reflective journals completed in Thailand (40%)

  • You must be a current undergraduate student at UC, with priority given to those who are returning to their studies in 2020
