London alumni function

Vice-Chancellor Professor Cheryl de la Rey would like to invite you to a University of Canterbury alumni function at NZ House on Thursday 16 May 2019. This event will be a great opportunity to catch-up with fellow alumni and friends of the University, as well as hearing from the new Vice-Chancellor on her first visit to London since taking up her role early this year.

Our guest speaker for the evening is UC alumnus Duncan Sandlant, who will be sharing his journey from law student at UC to creating and running a leading global rugby management business. Duncan graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 1997 and went on to practice law in Auckland before heading to London in 2000. Duncan is the Founding Director of Esportif International, a business with a global presence that specialises in the management of world class rugby talent. He has personally managed and been involved in some of the largest and highest profile negotiations of NZ players such as Tana Umaga, Jerry Collins and Sonny Bill Williams.
