R W Morris Prizes for Coastal and Ocean Engineering


Four prizes were established by the Committee for the 1985 Australasian Conference on Coastal and Ocean Engineering to recognise excellence in this area. The prizes are named after the Chairman of the Conference Organising Committee, Mr R W Morris, a consulting engineer of Christchurch.


For excellence in an aspect of physical geography, having significance for coastal environments and are open to candidates enrolled in 400 level courses in Geography, and
For excellence in either hydrology or hydraulic engineering to students who have completed the final year of the degree of B.E.(Hons) (Civil).
