Getting started

Step 2: Get Dreamweaver installed on your machine

You need to have the latest version of Dreamweaver (CS5) installed on your machine before you are trained. Allow time for this to happen.

How to purchase Dreamweaver

ICT Service Desk is your point of contact for purchasing and installing Dreamweaver. The ICT purchasing intranet has a page on the universities Software Purchasing Process (intranet) licence.

Most people only require a Dreamweaver license, not a package of Adobe software. If you have specialised needs it may be more cost-effective to buy an Adobe package of software. An example of where a package is a better choice is if you need Dreamweaver and Adobe Acrobat. (Adobe Acrobat is unrelated to editing and maintaining your website, but you may require this for another aspect of your job. If you're unsure check with your manager).
