Position Title in Staff Directory Search

Update to this item - Planned launch date is now late Dec 07.
We propose adding Position Title to the Staff Directory Search by end of November.
You can now search on position title and view it in the resulting contacts listings. UC staff (especially administrators) have been asking for this feature for a while.
This uses the HR People soft field "position description" for the title.
We plan to go live with this 30 November 2007. This gives departments until then to work with their HR advisors to correct any minor data problems before go live. HR have done some spot checks which show the data looks promising for accuracy. But some inaccuracies will be unavoidable.
This is made possible by the People Publishing System which runs the Staff Directory and will soon also drive people pages in departments.
