Insert macrons to web pages
For the display of macrons in Māori web pages, use the following special characters.
The result depends on the end-user using Unicode/UTF-8 encoding on their computer to display the macrons correctly.
To insert special characters in Dreamweaver
- Select the letter you want to replace, or place cursor where macron is to go on the page
- Go to Insert -> HTML -> Special Characters -> Other
- Copy the macron from the lists below, or type into the Insert box
- Press OK
