The role of Strategic Planning
The role of Strategic Planning is to coordinate key aspects of the University’s strategic planning and reporting processes by:
- Ensuring that the University’s Profile and Investment Plan are produced in a timely and effective manner
- Monitoring the strategic alignment of a range of University plans
- Overseeing and facilitating the drafting, review and revision of key University plans
- Ensuring that quarterly Statement of Service Performance reporting (including the Annual Report) is done in a timely and effective manner
- Providing quality strategic advice to senior managers to guide decision-making and ensure that University income from funding, fees and other sources is fully optimised
- Mapping and improving business processes relating to strategic planning and reporting
