Project Abstract
In this project we focus on the application of LEAN practices to the print industry. This is a PhD project being undertaken by Ms Zuliyanti Ainul Azyan. Questions for which we are seekign answers are: What is the role of LEAN in the printing industry? What are the barriers to implementing LEAN in the printing industry? What are the factors that influence successful implementation of LEAN in the printing industry?
We seek to develop a better model for how LEAN can be implemented in this industry. Practitioners from this industry are welcome to contact us if they wish to be involved in the research or are willing to support a case study.
