Project Abstract

This project explores the implementation of LEAN practices in engineering firms. We are interested in what methods NZ firms actually use at the IMPLEMENTATION stage, and how effective those are. Mr Antony Pearce is doing this work as a Masters thesis. The work involves surveying actual practices of NZ manufacturers, and building a model for successful implementation.
