Suspension training at rec centre

Suspension training is suitable for everyone - from beginners through to seasoned athletes. The variations are endless, simply modify your set up to increase or decrease intensity, to suit your workout for that day. You can do it all on one piece of equipment. There are two kits permanently set up in the circuit room, with extra kits available free of charge from reception.

  • Functional body weight training at it's best!
  • Improve joint stability
  • Improve strength and endurance, especially for core development
  • Improve balance and co-ordination
  • Variation in your fitness routine - avoid the crowds in the fitness centre!

Session details

  • Session will last for 30 minutes
  • Sign up at Reception or over the phone.
  • Free, but bookings are essential
  • If you are unable to make your session, please call and let us know.

On the day

  • Arrive 5 minutes before scheduled start time and check in at reception
  • You will be directed to the meeting point
  • Wear workout appropriate gear, including proper footwear (no jandals, sandals or bare feet)
