START Me - Gym junkie (Level 2)
So you've completed our Gym Starter session, trained for at least 8 weeks, and you're ready for a bit more? Adding free weights and more advanced lifting techniques into your routine, could be just the ticket. Sign up for a Gym Junkie session!
Why you should do this START Me session
- You've worked out on the machines for a while, and need a change or to see some changes in your results
- You'd like to learn how to safely use dumbells, barbells, cables and olympic bars
- You'd like to learn how to safely perform the main exercises in the freeweight area - deadlift, squat, bench press
- Session will last for 30 minutes
- Sign up at Reception or over the phone.
- Free, but bookings are essential
- If you are unable to make your session, please call to let us know.
On the day
- Arrive 5 minutes before scheduled start time and check in at reception
- You will be directed to the meeting point
- Wear workout appropriate gear, including proper footwear (no jandals, sandals or bare feet)
