On 16 November UC will be giving business and industry the opportunity to find out more about potential research partnerships.
Roger Sutton, the Chief Executive of Orion New Zealand, will be guest speaker at the event which will showcase leading edge hi-tech innovations from seven of New Zealand's eight universities.
Leading researchers will be on hand to discuss their work in areas such as advanced materials, nanotechnology, process technologies, robotics, industrial design and product development, medical devices, construction engineering, smart grids and control systems, clean energy and more.
The event, in the Deloitte Lounge at AMI Stadium, is sponsored by the Tertiary Education Commission and is part of a national programme of events designed to promote the contribution New Zealand's universities make to the country's economic development and raise awareness of their desire to engage in research that is relevant to industry.
