Important dates

The official courses start date is not necessarily the date of the first lecture. If you were not enrolled at UC this year, the last date to apply to enrol is one week prior to the official course start date of the summer course.

Current students can add a summer course to their enrolment by submitting a change of enrolment until the first Friday after the official course start date (except for field trips and teaching practices) for a course less than six weeks duration; or the second Friday after the official course start date (except for field trips and teaching practices) for a course of six or more weeks duration.

A refund is available if you officially withdraw from a summer course (that is less than six weeks) by the first Friday after the official course start date. For courses greater than six weeks the last date to withdraw with a full refund is the second Friday after the official course start date. There is no refund provision for students once they have commenced the field trip component of any summer course or a teaching practice.

We will only consider applications for a refund of tuition fees after the period listed above if they arise from medical or exceptional circumstances (not of the student’s making) as per the ‘Late applications for refunds’ policy in the 2018 Guide to Enrolment, which will be available in September 2017.
