Introduction
Initial studies in Sculpture focus on a range of specific issues concerning the relationship of sculptural practice to the wider environment. Particular emphasis is given to the use of the human body in relation to its context, the exploration of contemporary issues related to time and space, and to the nature and use of materials.
Subsequent studies are aimed at helping students establish sound working methods which are fully informed by contemporary practice, thoroughly professional in approach and effectively related to their social context. These studies are based on individually-constructed teaching and learning agreements.
