Researcher Summary

Research interests include:
-Advanced analysis of power systems: Analytical software for estimating the status of ac and Hvdc system operation. This includes powerflow, harmonics, electromagnetic transients.
-Forecasting energy patterns: Research in the evaluation of energy use in human society and its prediction. Modelling perceptions allow forecasting of patterns of national and international electrical energy consumption.
-Power Application Technology: Inventive technical design of power application technology, including water heater, partial core superconducting and resonant transformers.
-Renewable Energy Systems: Wind and solar energy systems for remote locations.
-Contract research and consulting: Projects developing equipment for the electrical industry. High Voltage testing. Assessment of electric power applications.
