The School of Languages Cultures and Linguistics includes programmes in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, European Languages and Cultures, and Linguistics.
The School is proud of its range and diversity. Its goals include the advancement and dissemination of academically rigorous knowledge in its fields of language and culture as well as linguistics, and thereby it aims to contribute positively to the growing internationalisation of our age.
Staff in the School are very active in research and publishing in a variety of disciplines. These include linguistics, literature, history, sociology, geography, philosophy, and cultural studies.
