Welcome to the School of Teacher Education. We are committed to providing exemplary programmes for teachers, supervisors, curriculum specialists, and other professionals pursuing careers in education.

Our staff are experienced educators with a passion for their subject area. They have strong links to the early childhood, schooling and tertiary education sectors, and to relevant and connected cultural communities. Staff research interests embrace many facets of education, across different sectors, but are connected through shared interests in teaching and learning that makes a positive difference for learners, culturally responsive practice, and teacher education. They work across a range of teacher education programmes and teach early childhood, primary, secondary, graduate and postgraduate courses. Many of our staff are curriculum and assessment leaders with national profiles who maintain strong links with early childhood settings, schools and the wider education sector.
