Peter Windle Scholarship
Description
The Peter Windle Scholarship was established in 2008 and is made available through the generosity of Mr Peter Windle. Recipients of the scholarships will be called the Peter Windle Scholars. The Scholarship will be offered every three years, with the inaugural scholar taking up his/her award in October 2009.
The Peter Windle Scholarship provides an opportunity for South Island students who have already distinguished themselves academically to attend one of the most prestigious universities in the World. The Scholarship will provide funds to enable a student, from a school in the South Island of New Zealand, to undertake a first degree at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge.
Eligibility
The Scholarship is available for students of all courses of study excepting medicine.
Candidates are expected to have researched the options for their chosen field of study and to have a definite choice of degree programme as part of their application. Candidates must refer to the Corpus Christi College website to check the minimum admission criteria related to their proposed course of study.
