Riccarton Rotary Youth Trust Scholarship

Description

The Riccarton Rotary Youth Trust was established by the Rotary Club of Riccarton as the result of a significant grant from a Riccarton resident, Mr Brian Moore.

The purpose of the scholarship is to attract students who face significant financial and/or personal challenges which might otherwise prevent them from considering entry to tertiary education.

Eligibility

The scholarship shall be awarded annually to a school leaver who has been granted admission to a full-time programme of study at the University of Canterbury, Lincoln University or the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology. Students who have undertaken a gap year may also apply.
Applicants must have resided in the Canterbury region for at least twelve months immediately preceding the closing date for applications or preceding the start of any gap year.

Amount $10,000 per annum
Tenure 3 years
Closing Dates 01 Oct 2013
Most application forms are not available until approximately 8 weeks ahead of the closing date.
