John Morrison Prize in Social Work

Description

This scholarship has been endowed by the late Mr W. Gordon Morrison and Mrs Morrison in memory of their son Brian, a past Chairman of the Engineering Society. The endowment specifies an annual award to engineering students attending the University of Canterbury, particularly overseas engineering students, who are considered "likely in their future lives to promote and foster racial tolerance, co-operation, and understanding, which our son during his lifetime and while a student at the said university earnestly sought".

Eligibility

Any student enrolled in third or fourth year BSW (Hons); Grad. Dip. SOWK; or MSW (applied) courses is eligible.
