These prizes were established in 1992 by New Zealand Aluminium Smelters and are allocated as follows:
a) Chemical and Process Engineering for 2nd Professional Design
b) Civil Engineering for 1st Professional Design
c) Electrical and Electronic Engineering for 2nd Professional Design
d) Mechanical Engineering for 2nd Professional Design
NOTE:
No Civil Engineering Prizes from 2012
Eligibility
Awarded for project work which demonstrates a high standard of conceptual design, innovative application of theory, concern for the human interface in the context of safety and quality, and concern for sustainable development.
